Where on Earth

is Carmen Sandiego Janine?

This is my friend Janine. She went to Idaho, and I was mad. But then she came back. But I've only seen her once. Okay, so I'm to blame for a big part of it--being busy with work and starting school and things.

BUT WHERE ARE YOU JANINE!?
I read your blog just now. The last entry said "My last night in Portland, I did dadadada...."
What the mess? LAST night in Portland? Wh...wha-what?

You mentioned something about moving back to Idaho. AGAIN. But you wouldn't really just....go... Not without saying goodbye to me.

Not like it matters. If you just keep moving back and forth, I don't really see the point in caring anymore.

Even if I still do.

Dear Amber,

I was going through my old sketchbook the other day and I found a picture of you. I remember drawing it. It made me cry.
I saw Chris the other day. We decided we should all hang out once you get back. Have you talked to him since you left? I haven't talked to you since you left. I've called you a few times, but you never answer. You haven't called me back either. Tsk tsk.
Anyway, I really really miss you. I feel like we almost completely stopped hanging out together when you moved out. It's no good. No good at all. I suppose it's partially due to the fact that it never took any effort before. We'd get home at the end of the day, and we'd just be in the same building. No problem.
I was supposed to take you to a drag show. Don't worry. We'll still go when you get back.
And when and if Janine gets back, we'll get a house, right?
I know you and Janine could probably just go get another apartment together somewhere, but I want to go ahead and say you shouldn't do that. I would be mad. And when I say mad, I mean MAD! MAD MAD MAD!
Let me tell you why:
I'd be mad because you and Janine would be back in your little apartment, Jamber reunited, and you wouldn't have any reason to come see me. You'd be busy having your own lives together, because you're like a married couple, and you'd forget I still live in the same city.
I just won't have it!
If Jamber gets a place, I'm moving into it, and that's that.
I suppose I don't really have much else to say...but I'll talk to you later/eventually.

Love,
Kale

I don't update, but no one ever sees this anyway.

Let's pretend for a second that I'm not horrible at keeping my blog updated with new and interesting pictures.

...

Second's over.

I'm lazy.

HUGS FOR EVERYONE!

"We should get jerseys...

'Cause we make a good team

But yours would look better than mine
Cause you're out of my league

And I know that it's so cliché
To tell you that everyday
I spend with you is the new best day of my life
And everyone watching us
Just turns away with disgust
This jealously
They can see that we've got it going on

I can not wait for a new improved way
To let you know you're more to me than what I know how to say
You're ok with the way this is going to be
Cause this is going to be the best thing we've ever seen

If anyone could make me a better person, you could
All I gotta say is I must have done something good
You came along one day and you rearranged my life
All I gotta say is I must have done something right
I must have done something right

Maybe I'm just lucky
Cause it's hard to believe
That somebody like you'd end up with someone like me
And I know that it's so cliché
To talk about you this way
But I'll push all my inhibitions aside
It's so very obvious
To everyone watching us
That we have got something real good going on

I can not wait for a new improved way
To let you know you're more to me than I know how to say
You're ok with the way this is going to be
Cause this is going to be the best thing that we've ever seen

If anyone could make me a better person, you could
All I gotta say is I must have done something good
You came along one day and you rearranged my life
All I gotta say is I must have done something right
I must have done something right

If anyone could make me a better person, you could
All I gotta say is I must have done something good
You came along one day and you rearranged my life
All I gotta say is I must have done something right
I must have done something right"

I fail at this blog thing.

Lots of things have happened since I last updated. To name a few:

I went to Queer Prom. This is E.

Janine left us. I miss her.

His name is Grae.

This is what sober looks like:

Yesterday was Lisa's birthday. She had a rad party. Underage drinking? Of course not!

I'm kind of sad that I don't have any pictures of Lisa to put here, seeing as it was her birthday. But these pictures are Janine's. She's a wonderful photographer when she's drunk. Er. I mean sober. Totally and completely sober.

Happy Birthday, Lisa!

Yesterday was a "Sunshiny Day".

I spent most of the day with Amber and Janine, aka Jamber.

Everything was so pretty.

And in case you didn't know, Blue Fin Sushi has cheesecake on their conveyor belt. Go there.

Crazian.

This is Jessica. She's cute, and we're friends.

She lives in Suburbia! AH!

But look! DUCKS! Quack quack.

Walks at night are nice.

So the other night, Janine came home and she'd had a pretty rough day. Luckily, I was there to make her feel better!

We went to Keller Fountain. At least, that's what Janine said it's called. It's really pretty, and one day, I want to take someone special there. I know. Ew, romantic.

Then we went to the Waterfront. I like going there at night. It's pretty and all lit up. It'll be really nice once it's warmer.

Note to self:

Buy the new Feist CD when it comes out.

Also: Buy nice clothes for interviews...

So you can get hired, so you can make money

to afford the clothes you bought to get hired.

I have brown hair, but not for real.

I was blond a few days ago. (That's Katie Lee, my part-time lover.)

Now I'm a brunette. With shorter hair.

The irrelevant bad news: My jaw is swollen because of my wisdom teeth, and I have to find a dentist asap.

I went to the Japanese garden.

On April 10, 2007

And it was really pretty.

This is one of those rock garden things.

And this is a rad pseudo-Japanese house. It was closed though.

So, the Japanese garden in Portland is kind of a neat place to go if you don't mind spending eight dollars.

Next I'll be reviewing the zoo.

No, really.

I live here.

Downtown, Portland

And this is the view I have at night.

I'm starting another blog today.

Everyone's doing it.
